My good friends from the Australian Skeptics (Vic branch), aka. ‘Vic Skeptics’ are putting on a rational show this year, showcasing skeptical activism.
Guests include the famed ‘Amazing’ Randi, founder of the James Randi Educational Foundation, SkepChick Rebecca Watson of the SGU, evidence-based medicine campaigner Dr. Ken Harvey, JREF President DJ Grothe, Australian Skeptics President Richard Saunders of the SkepticZone, Dr. Rachael Dunlop, Dr. Krissy Wilson and many more.
The show is set for the fist weekend of December in Melbourne, and tickets are available now. A detailed program is available here, and you’ll find more details at the convention web page.
A full speaker list is available here.

Can’t recommend this highly enough. I went to TAM Sydney in 2010 and in many ways it was better than the GAC. More intimate, laid back and a better chance to get to know both attendees and delegates. I wish I could go, but, sadly it’s not possible this year. But if you can swing it – GO! You won’t regret it!
